Privacy and Data Collection
- Personal Information
- We collect personal data (e.g., names, addresses, and contact information) strictly for internal purposes such as bookings and communication.
- We do not share your personal information with third parties.
- Photos and Videos
- Photos and videos of your dogs are taken during services for client updates. Grateful Dog may use these photos for marketing purposes.
Terms of Service
- Dog Behavior and Health
- All dogs must be up to date on vaccinations, especially Kennel Cough and Influenza.
- Dogs are evaluated during a trial day to ensure suitability for daycare and boarding at the Inn.
- Unfortunately, we cannot accept aggressive dogs for daycare or boarding services to ensure our clients’ well-being. We will evaluate your dog’s fit at our sole discretion during the trial day
- Health and Emergencies
- We will contact the client immediately if a dog becomes sick or injured while in our care.
- We will reach out to the dog’s primary vet or consult with our own trusted veterinarians as needed. Vet bills will be the sole responsibility of the client.
- Liability Waiver
- Clients are required to sign a waiver upon registration, acknowledging the inherent risks of pet care services. This will happen when a user first creates their profile within the TimeToPet portal.
Booking and Cancellations
- Advance Notice
- Bookings or cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid fees.
- Last-Minute Cancellations and No-Shows
- The full-service fee will be charged for cancellations or no-shows without 24 hours notice.
- Exceptions are made for emergencies or inclement weather, in which no fees are applied.
- Rush Requests
- Services requested within 24 hours of the scheduled time are subject to a $10 fee.
Refunds
- We do not charge clients before the scheduled service is completed.
- Since payment occurs after the service, refunds are not typically applicable.
Service Specifics
- Walks and Adventure Hikes
- Standard walks are 20–30 minutes.
- Adventure Hikes last 1–3 hours, depending on the location and number of dogs.
- Weather Adjustments
- In poor weather, we may offer rescheduling or reduce outdoor time, substituting it with indoor play.
Emergency Protocols
- We have detailed procedures for emergencies, including contacting multiple veterinarians and securing any lost dogs as quickly as possible.
- Clients are kept informed during any emergency.
General Policies
- Booking Guarantee: Bookings require a minimum of 24 hours’ notice to be guaranteed.
- Payment Deadlines: Payments made after 24 hours of service completion incur a $10 late fee.
- Daycare and Boarding Hours and Policies:
- Pick-up/drop-off: 7:00–9:00 AM or 4:00–6:00 PM.
- Services outside these hours require a $15 fee and prior arrangement through a service request for “outside window pickup/drop off”.
- Clients must wait to be greeted by their car during pickup and drop off.
- Unfortunately, no clients are allowed inside the Inn due to liability reasons.
- Communication: All communication and scheduling must be conducted through the Time to Pet platform. For emergencies, please call 443-692-7611
- Office Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM.
