A proud NYC native, she moved to New Jersey as an adult, staying there for 18 years. Finally, she moved to beautiful Glen Arm, Maryland with her husband, dog, cat, parrot, and fish. She has loved animals all of her life. She worked as a vet tech for a few years and as a wildlife rehabilitator before becoming a zookeeper. With all of the animals she has worked with over the years, from pigs, horses, and goats to porcupines, coatimundis, and kangaroos, she has always had a special place in her heart for dogs. She has had the pleasure of having dogs her whole life, and she can’t imagine her life without one. What better job can she have? She gets to look after somebody’s extra special and loved family member, their dog.
